Technique: Metalwork, Wirework
Description: Using copper, silver, and brass sheeting, students will learn a variety of techniques in metalwork. Focusing on movement, dimension, and folds, students will make jewelry with interest. Embellished beads and found objects will be options for students to add.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 18 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Anvil, awl, hammer, metal files, small hammer, tin snips, wire snips, writing materials, safety glasses, task lamp.
Pliers: Long needlenose.
Materials in Kit: Copper, brass, and silver sheeting; cold connections; beads; wire. Everything needed for class will be included in the kit.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
