Technique: Basket Weaving, Metalwork, Wirework
Description: Using bottle caps, lids, and metal, students will create round-woven stickpins, spinner necklaces, and a variety of jewelry designs. Weaving and wirework will be applied to the caps with a strong focus on basic metal applications.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Cutters, flush-cut wire cutters, hammer, metal files, tin snips, wire snips, writing materials, task lamp.
Pliers: Flush side-cutting, long needlenose.
Materials in Kit: Bottle caps, wire, copper, brass, found objects, beads.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
