Technique: Basket Weaving, Metalwork, Multiple Stitches, Wirework
 
Description: Using copper spokes, students will twine them together with copper wire. Beads will be added to create texture, either as the weaving is done, or later for accent and embellishment. Students will select their own color of beads, along with the shape and style. Two pieces of jewelry will be made.
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
 
Supplies to Bring: Wire snips, task lamp.
 
Pliers: Flush side-cutting, long needlenose.
 
Materials in Kit: Enough18-gauge wire for two kits, 24-gauge wire for weaving, choice of beads, pin backs, waxed linen, embellishment beads.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
