Description: Manipulate steel rebar into fantastic wire jewelry. Learn the dos and donts of this edgy new jewelry medium. Experiment with simple techniques and finishing methods to create jewelry and findings where black is the new gold.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 18 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Assorted beading needles, ball-peen hammer, beading mat, bench block, cutters, metal files, task lamp. These tools should only be used for steel rebar.
Pliers: Standard flatnose, standard roundnose.
Materials in Kit: Steel rebar, various and sundry found objects.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
