Technique: Peyote Stitch
Description: Weave a one-piece, three-dimensional, firm, and perfectly engineered triangle. Dangle one from an ear wire or necklace chain. Use one opposite a peyote-stitched bar for a distinctive toggle closure. Link several for a dramatic chain. Students will finish at least one in class and make several variations and sizes following the recipes in the handout.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, scissors, task lamp. Optional: Magnifiers.
Materials in Kit: Beading needles, thread, Japanese cylinder beads, seed beads in several sizes, drop beads, handout with detailed directions and several variations.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
