Technique: Ndebele Herringbone, New Technique
Description: Using a unique thread path, students will weave both sides of this reversible cuff at the same time. This method ensures that the two sides never separate from each other, yet it allows students to create two entirely different patterns for each side. Variations taught include how to use this same method to create a lariat.
Project will not be completed in class.
Student must be at least 12 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, colored pencils, scissors, task lamp. Optional: Children’s Fiskars.
Materials in Kit: 10/0 twisted hex beads in multiple colors, 11/0 seed beads (round) in matching colors, Fireline, beading needles, tube clasp, graph paper.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
