Technique: Wirework
Description: Love wirework, but not really sure where to start? Students will begin with an introduction to the tools and how they should be used. Then, they will explore the double-loop eye wrap, jump rings, flat-coil dangles, and a clasp. Students will leave with solid wireworking techniques.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: 6-in. ruler, bench block, chasing hammer, flush-cut wire cutters, pad, task lamp.
Pliers: Chainnose, long roundnose, standard flatnose. Instructor prefers Lindstrom.
Materials in Kit: 14- to 18-gauge sterling silver, beads, copper practice wire.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
