Description: Students will make a dazzling bracelet of colorful interlocking hearts sprinkled with more than 700 crystal AB 2 mm round beads within a seed-bead rainbow. They will learn three-bead-per-side triangle stitch to create a double-sided bracelet. One side flashes light and the other shows rainbow colors with only the crystal outline. The sterling bar closure easily sits on a diagonal. Sizing the bracelet pattern will be covered in class, as well as clasp variations and other applications for the heart shape in triangle stitch.
Project will not be completed in class.
Student must be at least 18 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: #12 beading needles, beading mat, scissors, task lamp. Children’s Fiskars or melting tool to cut Fireline is recommended.
Materials in Kit: 11/0 Japanese seed beads in seven colors, 850 2 mm round crystal beads, braided monofilament (Fireline micro ice 4 lb. test), sterling bar clasp, instructions. The kit includes enough crystal and seed beads for all wrist sizes.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
