Description: Students will learn how to make a bracelet from the base to the clasp. They will be forming the bangle base out of wire, knotting the beaded beads, and assembling the components to create this stunning crystal bracelet. Additional session offered Wednesday afternoon, June 4 (Noon-3:00pm).
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 12 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Instructor provides all tools required in class. Optional: Favorite or personal tools, such as anvil, hammer, work surface, task lamp.
Pliers: Chainnose, flush end-cutting, nylon-jaw wire straightener, standard roundnose.
Materials in Kit: 16-gauge sterling silver wire (for the bangle and clasp), 24-gauge sterling silver wire (wrapped at the ends for accent and strength), monofilament (for making the beaded beads), 144–168 6 mm Swarovski top-drilled crystals (dependent on the size of the finished bracelet). A portion of this kit is underwritten by Swarovski.
