Technique: Metalwork, Wirework
Description: This project incorporates several popular mixed-media techniques. By stamping, riveting, applying gromets, lashing, and using old watch faces, copper sheet, and miscellaneous ephemera, students will create a collage that expresses how they feel about the time spent in class.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Instructor provides all tools required in class. Optional: Favorite or personal accent beads, anvil, ball-peen hammer, chasing hammer, flush-cut wire cutters, hammer, head pins, metal files, rubber stamps, small hammer, tin snips, work surface, task lamp.
Pliers: Chainnose, nylon-jaw wire straightener, standard roundnose.
Materials in Kit: Watch face, copper sheet, wire, gromets, rivets, jump rings, leather, clasp, miscellaneous ephemera.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
