Level: All Levels Maximum Class Size: 25 Class Fee: $215.00 Technique: Metalwork, New Technique Description: Use acrylic paints and mediums, watercolors, and color pencils to explore a number of innovative techniques for adding permanent color to metal without relying on harsh chemical patinas. Color possibilities are endless. Samples shown in photo are examples only. Students will create their own unique pieces. Project will not be completed in class. Student must be at least 18 years old to register for this class. Supplies to Bring: Craft knife, paper, pencils, rubber stamps, scissors, tissue-slicing blade, task lamp, shallow container with lid for transporting projects. Materials in Kit: Metal stampings and shapes; various artist’s pigments, mediums, and additives; sealant; paintbrushes; metal-cleaning supplies; work mat; miscellaneous tools and supplies. Limit: One seat per person per class. You can register for classes Sunday, June 1 - Tuesday, June 3 at the registration area located in the Hyatt Hotel 2nd floor from 7:30 a.m. - 10:00a.m., or beginning Wednesday, June 4 at the Midwest Airlines Center 3rd floor at 7:00 a.m. For further information, please call 1- 800-554-0197.
