Description: Learn to apply a variety of innovative wire-to-plier bead setting techniques in this cold-connection chain class. Students will complete three pairs of gemstone-studded flower earrings. Bypassing the need for a hot torch, students will utilize simple hand tools to craft shepherd’s hook earring backs and to hold gemstone beads on Argentium silver wire. Then, they will set them into a dynamic flower chain design composed of flush-cut and tumbled jump rings. Some basic chain-working knowledge is helpful, but no experience is required.
