Description: Explore the hidden potential of jump rings in this cold-connection chain class where students will complete a geometric flower quatrefoil pendant. Bypassing the need for a hot torch, students will utilize simple hand tools to assemble a dynamic chain design composed of flush-cut and tumbled sterling silver jump rings. Some basic chain-working knowledge is helpful, but no experience is required.
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Task lamp (with small extension cord), optical magnification. Optional: Personal tools.
Pliers: Two standard flatnose, two chainnose.
Materials in Kit: 18- and 16-gauge precision flush-cut and tumbled sterling silver jump rings.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
