Description: Learn how to patina and polish your silver jewelry designs like a professional. Using finished pieces brought to class, students will learn several patina processes as well as power polishing and finishing techniques. Additional sessions offered Friday morning, June 6 (B08540) and Friday evening, June 6 (B08687).
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Terry-cloth towel, three pieces of finished silver jewelry for antiquing and polishing in class (wire and chain pieces are desirable as they present the greatest polishing challenges, but metalwork designs will also work), safety glasses, old towel or rag, motorized bead reamer with a 3/32-in. collet or an adjustable chuck.
Materials in Kit: Patina solutions, safety supplies, polishing wheels, pads, cloths, mandrels.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
