Description: Time flies when students are having fun creating their very own dichroic fused-glass wrist watch. Students will learn the tips, tricks, and techniques to create a stunning, unique, and above all else, durable glass watch. The instructor will share many helpful wireworking tips as students construct their timepiece. The instructor will also demonstrate three solderless clasp techniques from which students can choose. By the end of class, students will have completed a new watch that they can wear home!
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class.
 
Supplies to Bring: Flush-cut wire cutters, task lamp.
 
Pliers: Chainnose, flush end-cutting, long roundnose, standard flatnose, standard needlenose, standard roundnose.
 
Materials in Kit: Dichroic fused-glass wristbands, quartz watch face, 18- and 20-gauge sterling silver wire, sterling silver chain, beads for embellishment, sterling silver charm.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
