Description: One fish, two fish...learn to make your own fish! This class will teach you to make fish that can stand on their own two fins, while strengthening your bead-making skills. Students will learn techniques in complex cane, heat control, and scultping hot glass. Class involves the use of a torch with open flame and gases. Wear safety (didymium) glasses, cotton clothing, and closed-toe shoes. Tie long hair back. Additional session offered Friday afternoon, June 6 (B08741).
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 18 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Didymium or safety glasses, graphite marvers, large parallel masher, personal lampworking tools, tweezers.
Pliers: Standard roundnose.
Materials in Kit: Mandrels, bead release, Moretti glass.
