Technique: Glass and Lampworking, Right-angle Weave
Description: Students will personalize fused-glass pendants made in class with a picture, and create a unique piece of jewelry by transferring a black-and-white image, photo, clip art, or printed text onto fusible glass. Students should provide their own pictures of mom, the family pet, etc. to produce a sepia image of a loved one. Students will learn tricks to manipulate this transfer paper into fused works of art. Projects will be available for pickup the next day, or they will be mailed. Additional session offered Wednesday evening, June 4, (B08750) and Sunday, June 8 (B08763).
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 12 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Craft knife, metal ruler, scissors, tweezers, black-and-white pictures approximately 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 in. printed on white paper.
Materials in Kit: Fusible glass, photo-fusing paper, bails.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
