Level: All Levels Maximum Class Size: 20 Class Fee: $157.00 Technique: New Technique, Polymer Clay Description: This is a simple, safe, and super way to create stunning bead forms. Wrapped with ribbons, bands, and sensuous curves, these beads are like nothing anyone could make by hand. Yet it is so easy. Students will learn this precision technique and make elaborate bead shapes whose simple, pearly beauty will have them rethinking their use of surface patterns, too. Project will not be completed in class. Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class. Supplies to Bring: Pasta machine, tissue-slicing blade, work surface, task lamp, texture sheets, sculpting and texturing tools, 1/2 lb. each of three colors of pearlized polymer clay, additional clay. Materials in Kit: Bead mandrels. Lathes and turning tools provided by instructor for use in class. Limit: One seat per person per class.
