Level: All Levels Maximum Class Size: 20 Class Fee: $175.00 Technique: Ceramic Beads Description: This creative and fun class will teach everything students need to know about ceramic bead making. Students will learn basic shaped beads, pendants, links, and components. The instructor will teach embedding high-temperature wire, loading a kiln, and more bead-making secrets. Students will also decorate their beads with underglazes, which are capable of many effects, including a watercolor look. After firing, students will have a stash of approximately 30–50 ceramic beads to take home for their own designs. Additional session offered Sunday, June 8 (B08411). Project will be completed in class. Student must be at least 12 years old to register for this class. Supplies to Bring: None. Materials in Kit: Ceramic clay, work surface, sponges, hole maker, high-temperature wire, underglazes, paintbrushes, needle tool. All necessary supplies are included in the kit. Limit: One seat per person per class.
