Level: Intermediate Maximum Class Size: 20 Class Fee: $80.00 Technique: Peyote Stitch, Right-angle Weave, Wirework Description: Bead weaving and wire working come together in a stunningly cratered double-sided cuff. Prerequisite: Students must be able to work right-angle weave and peyote stitch “unassisted.” Email Rachel at contact@msrachel.com for optional preshow instructions or questions. Project will not be completed in class. Student must be at least 12 years old to register for this class. Supplies to Bring: Fireline 6lb. or 8lb. test, Silamide A, Kevlar, or thread of choice, small-tipped and high quality flush cutters, #12 English beading needles (not sharps), thread snips or small scissors, ruler or tape measure, magnification, task lamp. Optional: thread burner and beeswax. Seed bead color requirements: for a Single Color Bracelet: 95 grams 11/0 round Japanese seed beads, Color A: for a Single-Color bracelet with accent color: 80 grams 11/0 round Japanese seed beads, Color A and 15 grams 11/0 round Japanese seed beads Color B; for a two-sided cuff 42.5 grams 11/0 round Japanese seed beads, Color A, and 42.5 grams 11/0 round Japanese seed beads, Color B. Note all cuffs require 10 ft. of 22-gauge round wire (d/s or h/h), 3-6mm magnetic clasps, 320-3mm Swarovsi crystal bicones (5301). Pliers: Small-tipped and high quality, chainnose and roundnose. Not manadatory for class but are useful for learning. Materials in Kit: None. Students bring all class materials. Please carefully read the supply list. Limit: One seat per person per class.
