New Technique
Description: In this three-hour class, we will learn several techniques for adding faux finishes to vintage stamped-metal pieces. Who needs a kiln? Some traditional verdigris finishes will be featured as well as wild, any-color-goes additions to some beautiful old findings.
Project will be completed in class. Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class. Supplies to Bring: Small bowl; clear nail polish; fine, flat, and pointed paintbrushes; pen; task lamp.
Materials in Kit: Four vintage brass stampings prepared with gesso, access to Prismacolor colored pencils, enamels and acrylics, steel wool.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
