Bead Stringing, Wirework
Description: Learn to create a stunning treasure bracelet design that easily converts to an eye-catching necklace. First, use basic wire-wrapping techniques to connect a variety of crystals to a foundation chain. Next, learn to make multiple seed bead strands quickly and easily using a Spin-N-Bead tool. Wear the bracelet separately, or connect the bracelet and seed bead strands together for a stylish complement to any outfit. Most students will complete the design in class. The instructor will be assisted by Bead Master flash animation.
Project will be completed in class. Student must be at least 16 years old to register for this class. Supplies to Bring: Task lamp, magnifier or reading glasses (if needed).
Pliers: Instructor will provide pliers and wire cutters for use in class.
Materials in Kit: Brown, copper, and silver seed beads; 20 mm crystal golden shadow rings; 14 mm crystal copper rings; 12 mm and 6 mm brown pearls; 20 mm crystal copper pendants; 10 mm bronze pearls; 8 mm round golden shadow crystals; 6 mm crystal golden shadow donuts; 8 mm crystal copper donuts; 8 mm round smoked topaz crystals; silver spacer disks; brown polyester chain; white Wildfire thread; 22-gauge copper wire; silver ball head pins; 10 mm and 8 mm silver jump rings; silver beading cones; silver EZ-Lobster clasps; curved Big Eye needle; Spin-N-Bead tool; jeweler's cement; beading mat. All beads, findings, and the Spin-N-Bead tool are included in the free kit supplied by Beadalon and CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements.
